Disney Phone Pics

Here's the picture from the CarsLand Racers- you can see Ty with his head on my lap and eyes closed, haha. (It's a picture of a picture so not the best quality).

Oh the things we did to keep this baby entertained in the car for 10+ hours!!!

This baby was so good- taking naps wherever and just hanging out at Disneyland all day long.

Shaddie didn't get to go on very many rides and when he did he could basically care less!

The first parade we watched Ty had his head down the entire time and refused to watch. The noise, characters, people everywhere- total sensory overload. But he glanced up and saw Lightning McQueen at the very end and got so excited. He started waving so hard to Lightning and from that time on, he liked parades :)

These parades are pretty amazing- Disney goes all out.

How we traveled around mostly. I was dreaming of a triple stroller this whole trip :)

In line waiting for Iron Man Suit Up simulation.

We ate a late dinner at Red Robin and I went to change Shad after our meal was almost over. When I came back this is where Levi was- on the ground, fast asleep. He played hard!

8 months old picture for the day! ;)

Levi loves Ferris Wheels- I don't really like being up so high but he sure does!

My favorite person to hang out with while the older boys went on rides with Dad.

Twice a day on our walk to and from the hotel we would pass this store call RideMakerz in Downtown Disney. It's basically a build-a-bear type of store for cars. It's actually pretty cool and so many ways to customize and build your car. It's also ridiculously expensive, something I would never consider buying. But.... the first time seeing the Iron Man and SpiderMan cars, my boys were in heaven. They talked about them non-stop the entire trip. We told them on the last day of our trip if they were good the entire time they could pick out a souvenir from Disneyland. Out of all the hundreds of options there, they only wanted these cars. For a few days we used the Santa card and said maybe he can bring you one (or Grandma, haha) but each time they'd act up or have a hard time we'd mention the cars and they'd immediately stop and sit still. On the last day they were still so hopefully they could go make their cars. So we gave in after a long talk, finding a coupon, and only getting the very basic stuff, they got to make their cars. They were soooo happy and excited and played with them nonstop while waiting for the parade, on the ride home and since we've been home.

More princesses from the Little Mermaid restaurant disaster :)

Levi was not wanting to be at a "girl restaurant cause only girls like princesses"- right after dinner we told him he could go make his SpiderMan car so he was pretty anxious to leave and not interested in posing with Belle.

I was so proud of Ty- by the end of our very last day he was so into the parades, waving like crazy!

Levi picking out his car- he acted so grown up and serious about putting his car together.

What happens when you give a baby one Halloween oreo.... and then what happens when you give him TWO oreos!!

We heard amazing things about the World of Colors light show they do at Cali Adventure and really wanted to see it. The only problem was that it started at 9:45 pm! Well, thank goodness for double strollers because we somehow lasted and got to watch it with 3 little sleeping boys. It was awesome and a fun little "date" for TJ and me.

More Disneyland

Our hotel had a pretty cool splash pad right in the middle of it, along with a swimming pool, so it was so nice to come back for a break in the middle of the day and cool off and rest. Since we had 5 days we weren't rushed and it was nice to take breaks.

Classic Toon Town jail pic :)

One of our very favorite rides- Toy Story ride! There's always a long line but so worth it and FUN!

This baby was just happy to play with the 3D glasses!

This little boy kept thinking TJ was his Dad and would come up and hold his hand accidentally. It was pretty funny and when you stand in line together for 50 minutes, you become buds that take pictures together!

Levi was so adorable in asking if he could get his face painted. Ty and TJ were off on a ride together and Lev saw another kid get her face done. None of my boys have ever wanted to get their face painted so I was a tiny bit excited when Lev actually wanted to get his done. My boys hardly ever ask for things- they know the answer- and since we were on vacation I said yes and decided to splurge on something ridiculous. But it was so cute! He sat so still and was so proud! It was worth every penny. All the people kept staring and pointing out at him while smiling. I know I'm biased but I still think it's adorable. He wanted Spider-Man but this one was more of a tribal/tiger one so the guy added extra lines to make it more web-like :) Of course it was the "deluxe one" and cost way too much but whatever! YOLO as Jordan says.

There's that Repulsor Blast again...

Lev needed a nap with this one. He was so excited to meet Doc McStuffins! They love watching her show and I like it too since it's doctors and nurses :) (Plus, it really has helped my kids not be afraid at the doctors).
Also, I'm dressed for total comfortable and staying cool- don't judge the outfit.

Lev thought he was so cool.

I know I have more pictures of Levi than anyone else but that's cause he's the only one that lets me take them!

Eeyore just took Levi's hand and started walking off with him towards Tigger! I was pretty surprised and not sure what was going on, haha.

What boys do while hanging out on a bench on Main Street?? I just wanted a pic of their matching shirts :)

I just LOVE the Halloween pumpkins!

After me and Ty rode the Racers ride he suddenly said he wanted a picture by Lightning McQueen! I happily complied since he doesn't like very many pictures with characters since they are all "too scary." But he was happy to be with him and was so grown up about it too!

It was fun to have a few hours of one on one time with him :)

Ty was too scared of Woody but then when Buzz came out he suddenly said he wanted to meet him and take a picture if I'd hold his hand. And he did it!

He loved looking at the giant Lego store in Downtown Disney. He thought this Hulk made out of Legos was so cool! I'm glad we're (hopefully) a few years away from Legos. I know it's coming though, haha.

Funny story: I thought on our last day it would be fun to eat at one of the restaurants at California Adventure. You have to make reservations and I was already at the City Hall asking about somethings so just decided to make them while I was there for Ariel's Grotto. I'm pretty naive about restaurants and have only eaten at a 5 star one on my 21st birthday with my parents. I knew it was Disneyland and everything is overpriced but I just figured we'd order cheaper stuff or share. Since the boys loved the Little Mermaid ride I thought they might like eating at her "house." I've always loved the Little Mermaid and watched that movie over and over when I was Ty's age. So I guess I was reliving my childhood?? Anyways, once we got there, it was very fancy and princesses were everywhere!! If we had a little girl, she would've been in heaven. It was every girl's dream. But my boys were so bored and don't like princesses cause "they are for girls." So they had their heads down on their plates while the princesses made their rounds, saying hi to everyone and taking pictures. There weren't any prices on the menus and drinks and desserts were included- hello! I should've realized right then and there this was way out of price range and not what I thought it was!! If it was a Superhero restaurant then maybe it'd be worth it?? I about fell on the floor when we got the bill- $150 for 2 adults and 2 kids!!! We paid for $20 plate of mac and cheese that they didn't even eat!!! I felt sick and couldn't believe it. When we left I started crying and told TJ how sorry I was and that I didn't know. TJ couldn't have been any sweeter about the whole situation. He just smiled and said that it was okay and what's done is done and no more talking about it! So now we will always laugh about the meal we ate with all the princesses at the Little Mermaid's house with our boys! ;)
